Why Negative Pressure?
- PhysioTouch generates a negative pressure over the skin, which pulls up the tissue, instead of pushing it down (as other traditional methods)

Post Surgical and scarring
Negative pressure in the treatment head, stimulating lymph flow. The result of this is a rapid acceleration of the healing process.
PhysioTouch treatment activates the superficial lymphatic capillary network, pulling on anchor fibers to stretch the endothelial openings and increase the flow of lymph. By stretching the anchor fibers both horizontally and vertically, allows even sizeable particles such as harmful proteins to be carried away. The device can be used to treat tissue fibrosis caused by lymphoedema or persistent swelling.
The most important function of muscle tissue is contraction, which is necessary for all body movements. Tissue damage associated with excessive strain, unbalanced movements, or sudden impact causes an inflammatory reaction and the accumulation of proteins and fluid in muscles, in tendons, at muscle or tendon attachment sites, and elsewhere. Pain is how the body communicates that inflammation and swelling have developed, and it initiates a chain of anti-inflammatory reactions. The reaction to a muscle injury includes activation of a satellite cell, a type of progenitor cell, causing the satellite cell to move to the damaged area and combine either with pre-existing muscle fibers or with a new muscle fiber in the process of being formed. The most important function of satellite cells is to restore muscle performance by repairing damaged muscle cells. Excessive proteinaceous edema (swelling) can critically slow down the healing process by interfering with satellite cell activity.
Pain and swelling
