PhysioTouch operating principle

PhysioTouch is a negative pressure device which allows vertical and horizontal stretching of the fascial (connective tissue) structures, expanding the space for circulation of blood and lymph.   • Enhances fascial function by opening up the fascial structures with horizontal, vertical and rotational stretching
  • Increasing metabolic activity in the fascia relieves muscle tension and alleviates disorders of the surrounding tissue, such as reduced capacity of the lymph vessels that leads to swelling.

Swelling

Muscle Recovery
PhysioTouch is a very effective tool for general massage therapy and post exercise. The negative pressure allows removal of creatine kinase (CK) by activating and improving the efficiency of the lymphatic system. CK has been proven to be the main cause of muscle soreness. Also, negative pressure puts less stress on muscular tissue compared to positive pressure applied in active massage. This can help to avoid causing further damage to muscle tissue.

Lymphatics

  • Activates the superficial lymphatic capillary network, pulling on anchor fibers to stretch the endothelial openings and increase the flow of lymph.
