A Runners Guide to Injury Prevention and Performance Enhancement – Manchester
March 14 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pmFree
The amount of people taking part in running is rising each year, seeing more people take up the hobby whether its purely to keep fit or complete their first ever marathon and reach that desired PB.
From an injury clinic point of view, we see and treat runners daily. Many of whom suffer from those reoccurring niggles to more severe strains and tendinopathies. The aim of this event is to provide runners with the knowledge and advice to allow them to train more safely but also more effectively so they can see greater results but with less niggles and injuries.
During this event you will have the opportunity to hear first hand from our guest speaker Tom Lancashire (GB runner) on the do’s and don’ts of running and how to reach your running goals. You will also hear from one our therapists Ryan who is currently studying an MSc degree in Strength and Conditioning as well as Ollie Coburn, a sports rehabilitator and specialist in gait analysis.
