About

This webinar will focus on how pressures applied externally can influence lymphatic system function and fluid balance. Learn from one of the authors of some of the most ground breaking research done in the UK on the lymphatic system, and understand what effects your treatment is having in more detail.

In the webinar we will;
– Revise the A&P of the lymphatic system
– Explore the function and purpose of the lymphatics
– Discuss the effects of positive and negative pressure on the lymphatic system

Presenter

Prof. James Moore Jr., Department of Bioengineering, Imperial College
Prof. Moore directs a laboratory dedicated to the biomechanics of lymphatic and cardiovascular disease development and treatment. He and his team develop a variety experimental and computational models to understand basic function and test disease treatment concepts.
