This webinar will discuss the management and treatment of two patient cases. It incorporates the use of the BTE PrimusRS for objective assessment and functional rehabilitation and LymphaTouch targeted negative pressure device for management of scarring, as well as other treatment methods. Rosie Dear who works as an Occupational Therapist at Leicester Royal Infirmary and specialises in upper limb trauma will be joining us to share the management of two specific patient cases. Leicester Hospitals have been using the Primus for over ten years for management of upper limb and trauma. The team are pioneering its use for breast cancer patients.
We will have a 20-30 minute presentation from Rosie Dear followed by an interactive Q&A session.

– Treatment after a terminalised finger injury
Rosie graduated as an Occupational therapist in 1998 and has worked mainly in the field of upper limb trauma, burns and plastics since this time. She is passionate about the role that Occupational Therapists can play in the rehabilitation of individuals and within her current role as Clinical Specialist Occupational therapist at University Hospitals Leicester is always keen to explore potential new clinical areas of work.In addition to managing a complex hand trauma and burns caseload, Rosie has more recently been involved in developing an Occupational Therapy breast cancer rehabilitation service and future rehabilitation services for individuals who are recovering from COVID-19
