Wrist and Hand Focused Shockwave Case Study – Webinar

In this webinar we have John Ostrovskis, a private clinic owner, MSK sonographer and an experienced f-ESWT and RPW therapist who will share his real-life cases for particular wrist and hand indications.
We will have a 20 -minute presentation from John followed by an interactive Q&A session John will cover 2 quick case studies and showcase the use of f-ESWT in his treatment approach.

Background

Extracorporeal Shockwave therapy (ESWT) is widely used and highly effective treatment in orthopaedics and MSK rehabilitation. True ESWT also known as focused shockwave (f-ESWT) is able to penetrate to specific depths of tissues. It’s well defined powerful focal volume allows you to specifically treat the right structure that replicates the patients pain. f-ESWT can be used for a range of indications but more particularly with tendon injury/pain with high success rates.

 

Speaker 

John Ostrovskis is a Chartered Physiotherapist BAppSc with over 30 years’ experience with a post-graduate certificate in MSK Sonography and has been using ESWT since 2015. John is a private practitioner in Sheffield with specific interests in climbing and running injuries. His experience also includes working in Premier League Football (SWFC 1994-1996) and Super League Rugby with Sheffield Eagles.
