On June 11, 2022, this inaugural Johns Hopkins Sports & Performing Arts Medicine virtual conference will bring together researchers, clinicians, coaches, trainers, educators, and student-athletes and artists to address the effects of COVID on elite performers, with a focus on the mental and physical health and well-being of athletes and performing artists.
This course will also give you tools to improve your own self-awareness and regulation: both of which are essential in looking after your own health and wellbeing. To be a good therapist, empathy and sensitivity are required and without your own regulation, this leads to burnout. You will leave the course with lots of tools to help you prevent this.
