2:30 pm – Sporting Hand Wrist Injuries: Is Shockwave a worthy adjunct? With Ian Gatt

Ian Gatt will be conducting a workshop all about sporting hand-wrist injuries and shockwave.

In sports, the incidence of Hand-Wrist injuries provides a significant reason for limiting both training availability and performance in many athletes. There are a variety of conditions, however, at times a specific diagnosis cannot be accurately made with unresolving symptoms.

Rehab is a very important component of symptom management, sometimes symptoms can remain stubborn for no specific reason. In reducing symptoms, shockwave can be a useful ally.

Shockwave is a modality that appears controversial amongst clinicians seeking for evidence-based practice, and therefore it is important to appreciate whether it can truly have any significant impact. This workshop is aimed to help you appreciate how to approach these regions, with a wider consideration beyond just sporting injuries.

So, if you want another string to your bow…come and join us!
