Expert Tutor: Anil Prasad

Anil Daniel Prasad is an experienced Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and Shockwave Therapy Specialist based in London and Dubai, with over 20 years of clinical experience. He has been incorporating Shockwave Therapy into practice since 2009 and believes in an integrated rehabilitation approach that combines advanced technology, patient education, and structured exercise programs to achieve optimal outcomes.

Having worked across India, the UAE (Dubai), and the UK, Anil brings a global perspective to the assessment and management of complex sports and musculoskeletal injuries. He utilizes both Focused and Radial Shockwave Therapy for chronic tendon, muscle, ligament, joint, and bone pathologies, supported by MSK ultrasound–guided diagnosis and treatment.

Anil is actively involved in training and mentoring clinicians in Shockwave Therapy, delivering education grounded in strong clinical reasoning and real-world application.

He has worked with elite athletes, including ATP tennis players, PSA squash players, professional cyclists, and polo teams, and served as Director of Player Medical Services at the World Tennis League and World Paddle League, Dubai.

A keen runner and ultramarathoner, Anil has a particular interest in running-related injuries and performance-based rehabilitation.
