This shoulder course on diagnostic MSK ultrasound offers an excellent learning opportunity, featuring numerous case studies and practical learning. It is ideal for healthcare professionals who use diagnostic scanning in their clinical practice and who are looking to expand their knowledge.
This course ensures that you have ample time for hands-on scanning and receive close guidance and support from our tutors throughout.

Expert Tutor: Dr Harjinder Singh
Dr Harjinder Singh BM BS MSc (SEM) FFSEM (UK) PgCert Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, is a Consultant in Sport & Exercise Medicine, based in Leicester. He works in the NHS at Leicester General Hospital as well as privately including with various sporting organisations and clubs.
He has vast experience of elite athlete care at both national and international level. Locally, he is club doctor at Leicestershire County Cricket Club, and a medical officer at Derby County and Mansfield Town. He works in professional boxing as a sports physician, currently working with GB Boxing and has been to the Paris Olympics 2024. He is also part of the medical team who provides medical care at ringside events including Riyadh season.
He works with PGMOL, Professional Game Match Officials Limited. He assesses athletes who have medical support through the Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS) and the Professional Footballer’s Association (PFA). He provides second opinions in challenging cases in professional sport in particular football.
He has previously worked with Wasps Rugby, Leicester Tigers and Leicester City, Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, Nottingham Forest FC and England and Wales Cricket Board, the FA and FAW.
He is an experienced musculoskeletal ultrasound tutor and has taught musculoskeletal ultrasound at the AECC University College Bournemouth. He currently teaches Sport and Exercise Medicine registrars musculoskeletal ultrasound. Â He is a tutor for the FA for pitchside immediate care.
His interests centre on the optimisation of non-operative treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and in new non-operative interventional treatments. He treats refractory tendinopathies with novel therapies. He manages osteoarthritis non-operatively, particularly of the knee with a number of injectables. He performs a wide repertoire of other ultrasound guided injections of joints and soft tissues.
