Uzo is a former Royal Marines Commando and Special Boat Service (R) Operator. He has over 18 years of military service in both the Commandos, Special Forces and the Army.
In the later stages of his military career, he joined the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Directorate as a Specialist Physiotherapy Officer. He has seen service in Afghanistan twice with UK Special Forces and RAF 903 Expeditionary Air Wing (Tornado) providing deployed physiotherapy and rehabilitation support to mission critical personnel.
Uzo has a broad range of experience in physiotherapy, rehabilitation and leadership. He has served at Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre Headley Court and as Officer in Charge of Rehabilitation at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
Uzo has a Masters of Science Degree in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Sports Science and Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiotherapy. Additionally, Uzo is a Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association USA.
He is a keen sport climber and adventure sport athlete.
