Top-notch Osteopathy and Pilates Treatments
For stand-alone practitioners like Debra Stackwood of Sussex Osteopathy and Pilates, it really does highlight what is important as a clinician, and what is important as a person.
Debra’s hands-on osteopathy practice, which she has worked on over the years, has rendered a loyal patient base. What is lovely to witness though, is Debra striving to what she can do more to improve those she treats.
Luckily for us, Debra has been interested in imaging for years and with a short course from Chris Myers’ SMUG team and the affordability of the Alpinion E-CUBE 8LE, Debra is at the start of her diagnostic ultrasound journey.
It’s always a pleasure to install new medical technology into different clinics around the UK and Ireland. It’s interesting to see how different clinicians approach ultrasound diagnostics too. Like many, her world changed during the pandemic, adapting her clinic and bringing it, literally in-house, was a new learning experience. “I got to learn what was important to me and my family. I’ve worked hard enough all these years but put off my interest in imaging. Now is the right time to learn something new”
Easy To Use
Not only talented in the medical rehab world, but Debra also has a passion for music. A lot of the conditioning she needs and extension in her wrist in osteopathy is helped by the low-tension flexion and dexterity needed while playing classic guitar and cello, giving her longevity in her practice.
Although DUS produces a less audible sound than Debra’s guitar and cello, we hope she continues practicing playing her new instrument and creating the crisp MSK image manuscripts for many years to come.
