The Physiquipe Academy, encapsulates our passion in bringing people together and inspiring growth. Uniquely, our education stays brand agnostic, every webinar, workshop, article and podcast episode is open to all, and our tutors work independently, never restricted to using one brand.
We’re developing courses, workshops, partnerships and content that make quality education more accessible and affordable, driving up standards so clinicians get research-backed, evidence-based learning. That’s what makes our Academy different: education built to raise the bar for everyone in the industry.

Our half-day practical workshops put real skills in your hands. We developed them because clinicians told us the same thing: too much training is theory-heavy, brand-led, or hard to fit around clinic life.
So we built focused, hands-on sessions, run by independent tutors, open to all equipment brands. Our workshops get you to practice techniques, ask questions and network with those in your community.
Whether you are brand new and exploring or have experience and want to brush up on your knowledge and skiils, , we welcome all. This mix creates a beautiful environment of learning, challenge and community and you leave with new skills, knowledge and connections to apply the next day.
If you are a larger clinic with several staff , Contact us now for a quote to bring our workshops to you.
The Physiquipe Academy hosts the wonderfully engaging and informative “Life Stories” and “Leading the Field” Podcasts from Andy Thomas.
With over 200 episodes and growing, it’s fast becoming known as the podcast that shines a light on people’s journeys — how they got to where they are today, what they’ve learnt along the way, and their vision for the future.
Andy has brought the two together out of a genuine curiosity about people: “Life Stories” digs into personal journeys, while “Leading the Field” speaks to those setting the pace clinically, technologically and commercially.
We run live webinars regularly, giving you the chance to join in, ask questions and contribute in real time. Can’t make the live session? Every webinar is recorded and available to watch back whenever suits you, and you can still submit questions or feedback to the tutor afterwards.
Our webinar programme spans the full breadth of the profession: clinical application, educational pathways, business and economics, research, ethical practice, and technology. Whether you want to sharpen a clinical skill, understand the numbers behind your business, or stay current on the evidence, there’s a session for you. Delivered by brand-neutral tutors, it’s practical learning you can fit around your working week.

What does brand agnostic education mean?
Brand agnostic means our education isn’t built in favour of Physiquipe’s own equipment. Every workshop, webinar and course we run is open to all, regardless of what brand you use in clinic, and the content is written to teach the skill or technique itself.
Brand-specific courses are not necessarily a bad thing and they have their place. There are real nuances between systems/technologies that some tutors may not be able to speak to. The feedback we hear most often is that this can tip into product training, where attendees struggle to separate what’s clinically relevant from what’s simply a feature or benefit of that brand.
Our approach is built to close that gap. Whatever equipment you use in clinic we provide clinically focused, evidence-based education first.
Who are your tutors and why do you work with them?
Our tutors come from a range of backgrounds: Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Sports Medicine Doctors and who share our belief of creating long-term partnerships and inspiring growth.
We work with them for their clinical experience and their passion for helping others grow.. None of our tutors are restricted to using Physiquipe products only. We value tutors with experience across a range of technologies and brands, because that’s what lets them give you honest, unbiased education.
What do I get from coming on a workshop?
Hands-on, practical experience you can take straight back into clinic. We usually have relatively small groups (around 12-16 on a workshop) which gives you plenty of direct time with the tutor, and the chance to actually practise the technique.
Beyond the knowledge and skills you gain, many attendees rate the networking just as highly. Meeting others in similar situations, sharing challenges and experiences, and learning from each other. We’re all there to develop, and we actively encourage that interaction.
Do I need to already own equipment to attend?
Not necessarily. We provide everything you would need from an equipment perspective and aim to give you an expereince across a range of technologies to increase your exposure to what is available.
However, if you already have a system you use in clinic, and it is portable enough to bring, we encourage you to bring it. Plenty of people bring their own machine to learn on what they actually use in clinic.
If I buy a system, do I get free course places?
Yes.
Complimentary course places come with a system purchase, and how many depends on the system and your needs. Speak to us about your educational goals when you buy, and we’ll put together the right package for you.
Is the training CPD accredited?
Our education, both online and in-person is not accredited for CPD points, but every workshop and webinar comes with a certificate of attendance, which counts towards your CPD portfolio.
How much does it cost?
Webinars are free. Workshops are £95 with our early bird offer, or £125–£145 otherwise. If you’re a client of one of our partners (see our Partners page), you may be eligible for a discount code worth up to 30% off workshop places.
