Life Stories Episode #37: Dr. Chris Tomlinson

91 Views • 9 Sep, 2021

Chris is currently Chief Medical Officer to British Gymnastics and Senior Sports Physician at the English Institute of Sport. He told me about his experiences at Tokyo 2020 Olympics, and which moment from Rio 2016 was his most memorable in his career. He has worked 16 seasons in professional football in all leagues from the Conference to the Premier League. Alongside his work in elite sport, Chris is a Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Hospital in Oswestry. Chris told me his vision for the NHS to offer high quality rehabilitation, so I will look forward to seeing how he gets on with this!
