Rishi is the current club Doctor at Leeds United FC and one of the youngest working in professional sport. He talks about the first real opportunity he got in sport working with British Gymnastics and how working in a variety of higher trauma sports gave him a very good grounding and understanding of Sports Medicine. Combining working as a GP, as well as elite sports, gives exposure to a much wider variety of challenges. Rishi talked about how influential his parents have been in his career as well as Dr Glen Rae, Dr Chris Tomlinson and his Head of Medicine & Performance at Leeds United, Rob Price. Having a very understanding fiancee has helped Rishi balance the demands of working for a Premier League Football Club, especially when he is planning his wedding for later this year!
