Ollie Coburn is a BASRaT Registered Sport Rehabilitator with an interest in clinical governance and healthcare policy. He is currently the Registrar for the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators who are the professional body and regulator for GSRs in the UK. His role involves overseeing the guidance and policies of the organisation and leading the Fitness to Practise function. In addition to his work with BASRaT, Ollie is the secretary of the Accredited Registers Collaborative, a group of CEOs and Registrars from all 27 PSA Accredited Registers. He is also on the communications committee of the World Federation of Athletic Training and Therapy. Ollie is the managing director of Freehab, a unique MSK social enterprise company that offers free access to advice and support to patients who are currently financially excluded from accessing private care. Ollie still retains some face to face private practice work at M20 Health in Manchester and he shared three bits of advice for anyone opening a clinic.
