About this webinar
In this practical, case-based webinar, Dr Sam Botchey will explore how ultrasound findings can support a proposed treatment, change the anatomical target or prompt a different management approach.

Webinar details
Diagnostic ultrasound can do far more than guide needle placement. Used alongside a careful history, clinical examination and other imaging, it can help clinicians refine the diagnosis, identify clinically relevant abnormalities and decide whether an injection has a useful role in treatment.
In this practical, case-based webinar, Dr Sam Botchey will explore how ultrasound findings can support a proposed treatment, change the anatomical target or prompt a different management approach. Examples will include tendon, shoulder and joint presentations, with discussion of PRP and other injection treatments where relevant, alongside rehabilitation, shockwave therapy and situations requiring further investigation or surgical review.
The emphasis will be on interpreting the scan in the context of the patient: distinguishing potentially relevant findings from incidental changes and understanding both the value and limitations of ultrasound when planning treatment.
The session will include a 15-minute presentation followed by a live Q&A and discussion.
