M20 Health and medical-technology specialists, Physiquipe, are holding a CPD event on Monday 4th April 2022 to update on the advancement of focused extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) using Piezowave technology. The CPD evening at the M20 Health clinic at the Northern Tennis Club, West Didsbury, will allow you to experience the Piezowave treatment sensation, discuss the evidence behind its mechanism and understand how you can integrate its ‘mechanotransductive’ effects into stubborn, chronic injuries and those acute injuries where optimal speed of recovery is essential.

Our guest speaker is Dr. Anders Broegaard, former president of the Danish Chiropractic Anders Broegaard Association and a current board member of the Danish Clinical Society for ESWT.

He works in a multidisciplinary clinic in Copenhagen specialising in musculoskeletal diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of acute and chronic injuries and has for the last 20 years worked with focused shockwave therapy. He’s also gained extensive experience in treating musculoskeletal injuries over the last 25 years and has worked as part of the medical team for top national football, athletic and handball teams in Denmark.

M20 Health is a specialist sports clinic in South Manchester. Owners, Adam Naylor and Ryan Gordon, have over 25 years of expertise across sports injury, rehabilitation, science, and performance in professional sport, the private sector and academic research. Since introducing ESWT at M20 Health, patients and athletes have benefitted from its immediate effects in reducing pain and optimising time in returning to sport, allowing rehabilitation to progress more quickly.

We would like to invite sports team practitioners around Greater Manchester to come and find out more about its benefits for your patients and athletes. Come and join us on Monday 4th April at 7pm!
