Guest Speaker: Louise Kenworthy, Podiatrist and Clinic Owner – Complete Podiatry

Louise Kenworthy is the clinic owner and podiatrist at Complete Podiatry in Stockport. She is dedicated to helping patients get back on their feet, whether they are dealing with sports injuries, nail issues, painful corns or calluses, or general foot pain. Louise’s mission is to provide expert care to every patient who visits her clinic.

Since graduating from the University of Huddersfield in 2003 with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry, Louise has gained extensive experience working in both the NHS and private sectors. Her passion for podiatry is evident in her commitment to meeting the diverse needs of her patients. She regularly undertakes additional training to ensure the best treatment options are available, including:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Podopaediatrics (Children’s feet)
  • Master’s Module in Clinical Biomechanics
  • Master’s Module in Neurological Conditions
  • Attendance at Biomechanics Summer School
  • Certificates in Joint Manipulation, Nail Reconstruction, and Basic Life Support
  • Certificate in the Administration of Local Analgesia
  • Speaking engagements at podiatry conferences
  • Annual updates in core podiatry areas, including dermatology, rheumatology, vascular assessment, pharmacology, diabetes, and record keeping

Louise has a strong passion for continued learning and is currently pursuing the FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine. She is also undertaking a “Running Repairs” course, which delves into mechanical and psychosocial factors affecting runners. This additional knowledge has significantly enhanced her practice and the care she provides to her patients.
